TAUON – MARMARI

“Marmari”, the title track of this single, is inspired by the beautiful summer days and nights, sunsets and the view of the vastness of the sea in the village of Marmari on the Greek island of Kos. “Marmari” is bursting with life energy, makes you want to dance and enjoy life with every breath.

Tauon explains: “I just wanted to make a beautiful melodic house track that symbolizes my farewell to this year’s summer. Travelling back in my mind to the sea, the beach and seeing the many beautiful sunsets. These were priceless moments that will do me good in the coming, dreary season.”

“No Rules” is the second track on the single and carries a clear message. While many musicians are adapting to the increasingly fast-moving times and composing their songs shorter and shorter, Tauon has made a conscious decision to free himself from all rules. “No Rules” was created in a creative flow and was able to unfold freely. Tauon himself loves to dance for hours to hypnotic, electronic music and afterwards be caught and calmed by softer songs. “No Rules” fulfills exactly this role. Pulsating and at the same time gentle like a sea of feathers, the song slowly brings you back down after a night of dancing.
