On June 30th, 2023 Sine Music will be releasing the new ambient single “The Underworld“ by Softwaver. The single will be available in all well-known download stores and streaming services and announces the upcoming EP “Retrospective“.

Softwaver ist back. “The Underworld“ is his first single after ten years. The core of his music has remained: melancholic sound sketches meet spacy pad sounds produced with a lot of love down to the smallest detail. A touch of ambient and experimental sounds, which he mainly recorded with hardware synthesizers in his Berlin studio.

His latest work is inspired by life events of the last few years, saying goodbye to loved ones and the birth of his children. Alex Houser aka Softwaver has become calmer over the last couple of years and so has his music. Meditative and resting within itself.
