Erik aka Setsuna and Barbora met through a mutual friend who suggested they might enjoy working together – which they did.

Erik had shared a techno track with Barbora from his project “Erik Heirman“, which was in progress at that time. “But after receiving her vocal takes, I realized I wanted to take things in a new direction. So I reworked almost the entire track and went from a club oriented production to a more down tempo vibing track,“ Erik says.

“Above the Rain“ combines some of Barbora’s takes after an intense touring schedule, that have a certain intensity and rawness that immediately struck Erik. Barbora herself is a singer, songwriter and producer and currently works on various projects in different genres.
