Intimate and atmospheric listening experiences
through minimalist piano soundscapes
Waterside Echoes
The man behind the project „Waterside Echoes“ is the pianist Michael Schäuble, who enriches the music scene with a new perspective and a unique, minimalist soundscape. With „Waterside Echoes“, Michael invites listeners to sail on the gentle waves of his music – exclusively with the help of a Felt piano. The honest, raw and at the same time soft sound makes it feel as if you are sitting right next to the pianist, intimately listening to the gentle sounds. Every detail is the gateway to a new world: the sound of the fingers playing the keys, the creaking of the old wood – it seems as if the piano is breathing.
Michael Schäuble took classical piano lessons for a few years as a teenager. He later played keyboard in various bands and released numerous singles from different genres as a band musician and producer. Now, years later, he proudly presents his debut single „Lakeside Resonance“, which has been released on the label Organic Flow.
The starting signal for „Waterside Echoes“ was given when Michael Schäuble met up again with his studio colleague and friend Thomas Hauser at the Cosmic Sound Studio in Villingen-Schwenningen, Southern Germany. Both were enthusiastic about Thomas‘ newly acquired Felt Piano and decided to bring „Waterside Echoes“ to life and release the resulting songs on Thomas‘ label Organic Flow. The debut track „Lakeside Resonance“ was written during this jam session.
